Its a first finish for 2013, and I have many more WIPs to finish. My goal for 2013 (other than to lose the 10 lbs of baby weight now that said baby is 2-1/2) is to finish the many WIPs, make a quilt for little Miss Ah-mazing, make a quilt for our bed, and mostly figure out how to get it all done!
The Spin Cycle pattern is from Allison of Cluck, Cluck Sew. I love the pinks and greys. Not too girly, yet still feminie.
I quilted it with wavy lines in one direction about an inch apart. I love how that looks, and with the walking foot and pre-set stitch on my Bernina, it quilted up very quickly!
Jen of Bettycrockerass made a Sappling Quilt that I love! How cute is that?!? I used the same pattern from Oh, Fransson’s pattern for Refrigerator Magnets Quilt Blocks. I paper pieced them by mirroring the image before printing. They sewed up like a dream and I love the way it works into the quilt!
