I can join the Farmer’s Wife Quilt Along with my new The Famer’s Wife Sampler Quilt book. I’m about 6 months behind, and I won’t be able to start until I finish the hand print quilt. But oh, I have time to decide what fabrics to choose. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Etchings line by Moda. Maybe this quilt needs to be scrappy using the fabrics from my stash to keep with the spirit of the farmer’s wife. Oh what’s a girl to do?!? The letters in this book are amazing, and as a mom of two daughters, I would definitely let my daughter marry a farmer.
I like the decal from Fiber Flies, but I really wanted the I heart Sewing one… Oh well, maybe I’ll order the one I want, and save this one for a swap.
And finally, every girls dream — Peppermint bark and a Weight Watchers diet (really, I asked for this, really, I did). That is a Garmin 405 running watch (Big D got a new running watch and I got this hand-me-down), minus the heart rate monitor. Not too shabby, eh?! I really don’t need proof that my heart is working hard as I can hear my heart ready to explode and my umpa-lumpa face will atest to that fact! My running goal for this year is the Seattle Rock N Roll half marathon. I’ve been plagued with injuries since my last baby. That’s a discussion for another day
